The Process

How Selling With Trellicksen Works

No mystery, no vague promises. Here's exactly what happens when you decide to sell your home with us, from the first conversation through closing.

01

Reach Out

Submit an inquiry through our website or give us a call. Tell us about your property, your timeline, and any questions you have. There's no obligation at this stage.

We'll respond within one business day to schedule a time to talk.
02

Initial Consultation

You'll speak with a Trellicksen representative or a local agent to discuss your home, your goals, and what the selling process looks like. We'll provide a market assessment based on current data in your area.

This is where we answer all your questions and make sure there's a good fit before anything moves forward.
03

Listing Agreement

If you decide to move forward, we'll walk you through the listing agreement. The terms are clear: 2% listing commission, full-service support, and a defined timeline. You sign when you're ready.

We don't pressure you into signing anything. The agreement is straightforward, and we'll explain every part of it.
04

Preparation

Your agent works with you on pricing strategy, coordinates professional photography, and provides guidance on staging and presentation. The goal is to position your home to attract serious buyers.

05

Marketing & Showings

Your listing goes live on the MLS and major platforms. Your agent handles showing coordination, open houses, and buyer inquiries. You'll receive regular updates on activity and feedback.

Marketing is targeted and strategic, not scattershot. We want qualified buyers seeing your home, not just traffic for the sake of traffic.
06

Offers & Negotiation

When offers come in, your agent reviews each one with you, advises on strengths and risks, and handles all negotiation on your behalf. You make the final decision.

07

Under Contract to Closing

After accepting an offer, your agent manages the transaction through inspection, appraisal, and closing coordination. They keep you informed at every step so there are no surprises.

Your agent is with you from the handshake all the way to handing over the keys.
